WWI & WWII Newfoundland Female Veterans

While I was doing research on Newfoundland War Brides for this site, it came to my attention that the roll of the Newfoundland women who enlisted in WWII has gone almost unnoticed. Being interested in the roll of women in our history, it only seemed natural to add a scroll of honor for these women.

Newfoundland Female Veterans

WRCNS service numbers begin with W – 1 ; O for officers.
The Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS; popularly and officially known as the Wrens) was the women's branch of the Royal Navy.
RCAF (WD) are 6 figure numbers beginning with a 3.
CWAC service numbers begin with the Military District number.
Nursing Sisters are separate again [Florence Nightingale refused to take orders from a military man!] and there are N/S for all 3 services.
