I arrived in Corner Brook in the middle of winter. I had never seen so much snow. Expressions had different meanings, the sidewalks were wooden, but I thought it was a pretty little Town and fell in love with it.My sister and I were very fortunate that we were accepted by wonderful in-laws and very friendly people. Vic and I had 50 years together 2 daughters and I have no regrets. NL has been very good to me.
