Corner Brook was was very quiet, the houses in some parts were
coloured, the snow deep and it was cold. The people were friendly,
and I was made welcome by my husbands family and friends.
I missed there being no water in most houses and it was carried for quite a while.. Given time, one gets used to different customs, and now I love Newfoundland, and it is home to me.
