..."Betty (Mom) as she was know came to Nfld. with three children under the age of 5 years.They settled in Frederickton, NDB, but lived in Benton, St. John's, Torbay, Manuels, Blaketown and Fortune. They operated a mink ranch and Mon worked as a rancher doing all those duties while raising seven children. They moved to Ontario and Mom worked in a factory for many years. Following retirement they travelled within Canada, U.S., Scotland and Australia. They enjoyed their sail boat and wintering in Florida. They returned to Newfoundland and bought a house in Glovertown. Eventually they moved into a senior's home. Mom passed away in 2008 followed by Dad in 2010." daughter Irene.
