It is with great sadness that the family of the late Solomon Saunders announce his passing on September 15th at the Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, in his 87th year. He will be sadly missed by his four daughters: Donna, Shirley, Clarissa and Sandra; two sisters: Kathleen (Jerry) Gotell of New Brunswick, Gladys (Morris) Corcoron of St. Mary's Bay; 3 brothers: Bert (Jean) of Hare Bay with whom he resided, Ben (Yvonne), Deer Lake and Harold (Madge), Deer Lake; 3 grandchildren and his special friend Alice, also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Alice. Visitation took place from Parsons Funeral Home, Deer Lake, Saturday, September 16, 7-9 and Sunday, September 17, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where also funeral services will take place on Monday, September 18 at 11 a.m. with Father John Collins officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake. Lest We Forget
