When we arrived at Twillingate we were given a welcome home
party with lots of noise from the old muzzle guns. We had a quieter welcome
party at Buchan’s given by my sister. Annie went to Corner Brook as a
representative of the United Church in Buchans. She met several women
from Scotland and felt she would like to live there. We moved to Corner
Brook in 1954 and lived there until 1986.
